HMPE ROPE SLINGS
HMPE Eye-to-Eye Super Slings
Flexible synthetic slings for vehicle towing and recovery applications. HMPE rope construction, an eye at each end, and a full-length protective sleeve provide a compact connection option for tight spaces.
Built for Practical Recovery Work
- Eye-to-eye design: A connection eye at each end of the sling.
- HMPE rope: A flexible synthetic construction for routing through suitable attachment points.
- Protective sleeve: Full-length coverage helps reduce abrasion; inspect the sleeve and the rope beneath it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Size choices: Four diameters with the lengths shown below. Select the required size and length from the product options.
Full Pull Rope Listed Capacities
The chart below reproduces Full Pull Rope’s listed working load limits by configuration. Values are in pounds and are not breaking strengths. Confirm the rating and permitted use on the individual sling’s tag before use.
| Diameter | Listed Lengths | Vertical WLL | Choker WLL | Basket WLL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3/8 in. | 8 ft., 10 ft. | 7,020 lb. | 5,970 lb. | 14,040 lb. |
| 1/2 in. | 6 ft., 8 ft. | 12,240 lb. | 10,400 lb. | 24,480 lb. |
| 5/8 in. | 6 ft., 8 ft. | 18,900 lb. | 16,065 lb. | 37,800 lb. |
| 3/4 in. | 8 ft., 10 ft. | 23,760 lb. | 20,200 lb. | 47,520 lb. |
Use the rating on the individual sling's identification tag and the manufacturer's instructions for the actual configuration. Do not substitute a breaking-strength value for a working load limit.
Selection & Inspection
Never exceed the applicable working load limit. Hitch configuration, angles, contact surfaces, and connection hardware affect suitability. Inspect the sling, eyes, sleeve, and identification tag before use, including the rope beneath the protective sleeve.
Use only within the applications and configurations approved for the exact sling supplied. A vertical, basket, or choker rating alone does not establish approval for a particular application.
