Lightweight connections for demanding work
Samson Link-It Plus™ soft shackles combine AmSteel®-Blue 12-strand HMPE rope with a button-knot closure for a strong, compact connection. Flexible and easy to attach or remove, they offer an alternative to steel shackles that will not rust or corrode. Full chafe protection and an attached rating tag come included.

Connect correctly. Inspect before and after use.
- Check connection fit against the listed minimum bend diameter. Follow Samson’s single-pass installation sequence, position the button knot between the bearing points and tighten the eye by hand.
- Inspect the rope, eye, button knot and lock stitching. Check beneath worn chafe protection for damage to the load-bearing rope.
- Retire a shackle if the knot shows a sinking crown or rising walls. Use the photos in Samson’s inspection guide to recognize these changes.
- Keep a record of loading and use. Contact Samson for guidance if the rope’s condition or suitability is uncertain.
